I thought the archives were going through them, but may be mistaken.
Just thinkin' that maybe the SS text copies might have "accidentally" been stored in those.

(115,836 posts)part of an investigation, we won't learn what's in them, at least for now. Some of it might be classified, so that won't be released. It's also possible that a lot of it is stuff that TFG wanted to keep just to fluff his ego, like "love letters" from Kim Jong-un and other disreputable characters. Icky but not necessarily criminal.

SS can't afford much more bad PR.

(115,836 posts)not about the missing Secret Service texts - a separate issue. Since the SS texts were electronic, there's no likelihood there would be paper documents describing their content, and the phones themselves would have had to be turned over as part of the migration. Nobody has suggested that any phones are missing. Also, although the SS was told to preserve information before 1/6, the OIG did not request communications data until Feb. 26, more than a month after TFG moved out of the WH with the documents.
