It's continuation is a nice theory, but that coup attempt was put down. Note: the operative word in that sentence is attempt.

I never really thought about her-- from the seventies to the early nineties- she was just a "wealthy NYer" to this Southern girl.

Looking back at her life post mortum, it's pretty obvious she was the brains behind the "Trump brand."

She really did "take everything."

The man is obviously miserable and has been for decades. He has no ability to self-reflect and change himself for the better.

So, he looks outside himself for his fix - to money, power, sex, etc. He tries to push people down in a pathetic attempt to lift himself up. None of these work for long, and he goes to bed most nights hating himself. That's probably why he doesn't sleep.
