Bannon's just smart enough to know that he's not as smart as he likes to portray himself. A seasoned prosecutor would tear his testimony to ribbons in very short order if he dared to take the stand.

Hope judge refuses to accept it and sends the jury back into deliberations for how many times it takes to come up with a verdict.

You know the one who brags about all he would do in any situation but then something happens and they stay stuck quiet on that stool not doing anything.

His attorney knows nothing is gained with testimony. They'll argue that he was trying to comply in closing arguments.

If you have the law on your side, argue the law;
If you have the facts on your side, argue the facts;
If you have neither the law nor the facts, confuse the issue.

I am guessing it won't take longer than two hours for the Judge's instructions and closing arguments.

I'll bet that when Bannon's lawyer gives his closing argument, that Prosecutors will object to something that the defense tries to sneak in, and the Judge will admonish the attorney for trying it.

The jurors are probably confused right now. I think they will be done in time for lunch tomorrow. I don't think that Bannon will go to jail tomorrow, but we will be treated to another tirade on the Courthouse steps.

He has set himself up for an appellant argument of some kind of obstruction of his defense. That's all he's got. If he goes to jail at any point, his appeal will probable not be in the docket until long after he served his sentence.

He'll be released until sentencing. His attorneys will ask for a delay to marshal up the mitigating factors for the sentencing. It will be interesting to see if the Judge falls for it. I think, sentencing in one week. One more week. I think he'll get the 60 days and a cheap fine. I doubt he'll get house arrest, unless his attorneys can hustle up a medical report that supports it.

So, let's hope we get at least one good shot of him in an orange jump suit.
