Forcing them to be pregnant most of the time.

Make them drop out of school and no longer have ability to get high paying jobs.

Force OB GYNs out of practice so women will die at higher numbers.

Some of us older women have lived during the times before birth control.

Listen to our warnings about how bad this will get.

Birth Control changed everything for women.

Now we are going back to the dark ages.

I was talking about feeling like a second class citizen again.. and told him stories of when I was in my early twenties and first married and could not get a credit card without his Dad signing on, and when I could not use my name prior to marriage when I registered for college... and he told me that he had not really thought about it too much till SCOTUS did that.. and I told him that they would be going after contraception next.. and he looked at me and said "Mom its not about being a 2nd class citizen, they are treating women like they are animals who they can control the breeding of".. He was angry.. My son is 34 and it is not only women who are angry.. it is young people period.. there will be a price to pay by the republicans..

GOP Reps Liz Cheney of Wyoming, Nancy Mace of South Carolina, Fred Upton of Michigan, Adam Kinzinger of Illinois, John Katko of New York, Brian Fitzpatrick of Pennsylvania, Maria Elvira Salazar of Florida and Anthony Gonzalez of Ohio voted in support.

Half of the Republicans who voted for it – Mr Upton, Mr Kinzinger, Mr Katko and Mr Gonzale – are not seeking reelection, while Ms Cheney faces a tough primary in her home state after her repeated criticism of former president Donald Trump. Others like Mr Fitzpatrick and Ms Salazar represent districts that voted for President Joe Biden.

It does not protect anything, really.

This goes back to the case/s where a certain employee does not want to sell certain items. The customer got what they wanted, just attended by a different employee. If the store's policy is to allow this ... it is what it is.

This establishes a legal path to sue someone who does not wish to be involved in certain types of sales.

Other than that ... it says very little.

14. The Contraception Market Is Very Big And Many, Many Companies Are Involved In It....
Thu Jul 21, 2022, 01:05 PM
Jul 2022

The U.S. contraceptive market size was valued at around USD 8.0 billion in 2021 and is projected to expand at a compound annual growth rate (CAGR) of around 4.70% in the forecast period.

In 2015–2017, 64.9% of the 72.2 million women aged 15–49 in the United States were currently using contraception. The most common contraceptive methods currently used were female sterilization (18.6%), oral contraceptive pill (12.6%), long-acting reversible contraceptives (LARCs) (10.3%), and male condom (8.7%).

In the United States, close to $3 billion in prescription birth-control pills are sold each year, according to the life-sciences research firm Iqvia. They are manufactured by a variety of drug companies, including Pfizer Inc. and Bayer AG.

The birth control pill is a safe, simple, and convenient way to prevent pregnancy. It also has other benefits like reducing acne, making your periods lighter and more regular, and easing menstrual cramps. So beyond birth control - it is a women's health issue as well.

Major players in the oral contraceptive pills market are Teva Pharmaceutical Industries Ltd. , Bayer AG, Syzygy Healthcare, Mankind Pharma Ltd. , Pfizer Inc. , Piramal Enterprises Ltd. , Ferring B. V, Merck & Co. Inc., Johnson & Johnson and Lupin Pharmaceuticals Inc.

Why aren't these companies lobbying Congress to make sure that Congress doesn't outlaw birth control?

I just don't understand the Repugs stand on this issue. How do they propose that making birth control illegal be policed?

Are we just talking birth control pills or are we talking about all forms of contraception?

Where is this all going?

When are the Repugs going to reinstate 'prohibition'? (sarcasm)

At any rate, this is a health care issue for more than half the population and a rouge scotus should not be allowed to take our hard won rights away.
