That is about the best one I've ever seen, a classic Fraudulent Slip if ever I saw one.

(However, be aware it's a respiratory virus in sub Saharan Africa. It's not easy to catch so it isn't super widespread)

Also, from what I'm reading, it's primarily spread by direct physical contact, not through the air.

Nobody should get too smug about this one.

I was a nurse when GRID appeared, changed to AIDS when women and kids who needed blood transfusions and blood products developed it, and finally changed to HIV when the virus was isolated. That one isn't easy to catch, either, but people are still getting it. It's also not strictly a gay men's disease and, like monkey pox, never was.
