I’ve heard her a few times on podcasts after her departure from TV, and she is brilliant, quick, and an excellent communicator. Never understood why they canned her before, but I’m glad she’s back with a good gig in a prominent slot.

I disagreed with Rachel.

Trump was acting like a spoiled child when he wouldn't read his prepared statement. I got the same impression as Alex had. Ivanka or someone taking Mommie's place had to change words for him.

overlooked and might have given him the nod-- despite my feelings expressed above-- given how much he has done for the network over the past few years. His filling in for damned near EVERYONE during COVID, doing every location shoot, including those that were hardly easy, safe, or prestigious. In general, being a very good host, commenter, and interviewer should have earned him more consideration, IMO.

I guess it is a coin toss, but I can't say I feel quite as excited as some here on the result.
