Any SS agent that deleted texts without a copy for a backup,

Is subject to criminal charges, and should be put on leave as soon as they are exposed. They broke federal law no matter if they received orders to save info, or not, and they all are very aware of the law . Those involved should not be allowed to retire to get their pension, or benefit in any way from their criminal actions. There has to be substantial consequences for people in this and, other DOJ agencies to clean it up, and to prevent others to take this approach knowing they'll escape any real consequences. Government corruption has to be exposed and stopped now, for all involved, or this government we have will never work.

Their actions, and inactions expose their intent to be complicit to commit crimes.

Lawrence O'Donnell was talking earlier this week about how Murray is a "Trump guy" appointed by and loyal to Trump), as well as how he's on the verge of leaving office to take a highly paid position as head of security for some corporation.

I'm thinking Murray is trying to cover up something bad and was hoping to be able to slip away without being held accountable for whatever it is. Will he succeed? Stay tuned for the next installment of the January 6th Chronicles!

I am convinced that the texts were so incriminating that breaking the law about deleting texts was the lesser evil. I’d just love to find the specific law.

is the head of DHS, he needs to put the IG on leave also, instead, the IG, who may be complicit, is leading the SS investigation.

Shit like this is what pisses Democrats off. Why isn't someone neutral, like the FBI, investigating this?

are people within the FBI and DOJ who are anything but. Trump particularly cultivated agents and administrators who leaned Right. Where he could he elevated or installed loyalists throughout the entire federal hierarchy. Some of them are still in place, like the head of the Secret Service, and at least 24 agents.

people in law enforcement lean to authoritarian rule. Anyone that Trump appointed to office should have been fired yesterday.

to assert that most are that way would be less than accurate.

Having a political pov is not the same as acting on the belief that it should drive every decision. The people I'm referring have gone far beyond the codes that a professional would follow. They have chosen, as Trump did, personal belief above patriotic duty; Their hateful high priest over Country and Constitution.

Anyone who received pay for those days, put them on suspension until the text issue is resolved. Or they can prove their role was benign.
