WARNING!!!

The J-6 Committee will be back in September - with even MORE devastating testimony - just weeks before the midterm elections!

For Trump ass-kissers in the GOP, this will be your last chance to play your "I NEVER liked him" card before America goes to the polls to vote.

Don't wait until the last minute to distance yourself from the Insurrectionist-in-Chief.

ACT NOW - and avoid the humiliation of supporting the delusional loser who's already been proven to be a TRAITOR when the J-6 Committee has now said, "But wait - there's MORE!"

I have a feeling the "more" isn't going to go your way.

We haven't come around to the Pentagon portion of this although I suspect the introduction of Gen. Milley testimony was a precursor to that portion of the investigation.

And we also haven't heard much about the allies in Congress, that will be the big bang I'm thinking. If it impacts the election, so be it. They have done worse in the past and will do worse given a chance.

is that is simply not true.
We all know who decides elections, and it's the independents.
Those of us who vote Democratic will always vote Democratic, I can't imaging doing otherwise. But those fence-sitters who are always the swing voters are dramatically affected by things like this. We can pretend they aren't there like we always do and suffer the consequences, or we can recognize it and try to deal with it.
I could be completely wrong on this one, it's just speculation, but I think this is going to hurt us in the end, most especially of no one is ultimately charged and prosecuted. Then bringing it up again right before an election? Terrible optics.

At this point, they’ve either provided enough info for the AG to move forward or they haven’t.

If the AG doesn’t move on things by the end of August, then it’s highly unlikely anything is coming down the pike.

and at this point I think Trump has very little chance of success in a future election. The DOJ operates separately.

Still, there is much more to be uncovered.

I've always been a 'night person', and since I am pretty much out of work due to Covid, I've had the luxury of turning my day around.

I now usually go to bed between 9:00 a.m. and noon, and get up around 6 p.m.

Couldn't be happier with the present arrangement!

He is excited about the Presidential election. I asked who do you want. He said, I think Trump will win in 2024. Then he proceeded to say that he likes DeSantis and Pence.

Don't ask me what I said. He is bull headed, "not a racist" racist, getting old and loves Jesus. So, I just let him ramble. He is hard of hearing and it's quite impossible to have an intelligent discussion.

The country is still asleep, IMO. I hope we win big in the mid-terms. We must.

...in general. Unfortunately, not much of a sign of that yet.

I'd hoped that by now, over 18 months after the insurrection, there would have been many more high-level indictments, and even a few convictions, to expose the entire Republican party for the unprincipled authoritarian threat they represent.

I have been gravely disappointed. Nothing that the DoJ might, just might, do in the future can make up this already-lost opportunity.

So far, Republican candidates (Missouri and Kansas) for everything are still running ads like they’re the second comin’ of Trump.

Will be interesting to see if the next round of ads have copy changes.

But they usually have just put out a sign for some rightwing judge or other candidate instead. They'll still vote R.

Leaders of our great Democratic Party and leaders of the remains of the Republican Party knew they had to right the ship of democracy, and that involved a level playing field in the 2022 elections. Don't you think Speaker Pelosi and Liz Cheney talked a lot? J6 has thus far over-delivered if that's possible.

I don't care what they think just want to see legal proceedings with teeth to follow.
