If you talk like that and have a lot of money, they hail you a prophet. I despise Alex Jones for deceiving people and making other people's lives miserable, but he is quite intelligent and very creative. I think he knows what he's doing, he's just smart enough to know better than to ever break character. His listeners are very devoted and they would probably be on the brink of suicide if it were ever proven that Alex was a liar. And all of that money from his videos and the supplement business would dry up.
