1. That is wise advice. Let's not be surprised at what gets thrown at us next.

Mr Google sayeth "Accommodationism rests on the belief that government and religion are compatible and necessary to a well-ordered society. Accommodationists assert that in the First Amendment the framers intended to promote cooperation between government and religion, not neutrality or government hostility toward religion."

Used in connection to civil rights, especially racial equality (separate but equal was accommodationist), and authoritarian measures.

Think of the Enabling Acts at the end of the Weimar Republic…

Until then, here's more discussion about what courts need to do to not slide into accommodationism, which is already sliding the U.S. into minority rule theocracy.

what he is talking about. We need plain speaking communicators. Trump knows how to communicate to the masses. “Accommodationist language” are you kidding me. Come on Beschloss I know you are talking to your twitter followers but say it like you are talking to a 5th grader so most of us can understand. This really irks me. Obama, I love him, but often he did this, spoke at a very high level words many didn’t understand.

Beschloss is referring to to language that drifts toward an acceptance of anti-democratic forces.

This same accommodation language was what lead to Trump becoming the Republican nominee and ultimately president. Accommodationist language is what occurred throughout his presidency. Remember how the media tried to make him presidential in spite of him constantly being an ignorant, moron.

Beschloss is sounding the alarm that as a country we cannot allow this to happen again.

Free mass media airtime. TFG is the result of a run-of-the-mill commercial media personality getting lavished with 24/7 coverage of his antics and atrocities.

They should have to pay to promote their self-serving agenda.

Bring back the Fairness Doctrine or a 2022 equivalent. Otherwise, we will always get the government of the highest bidder.
