Are you following the Fani Willis situation? Fuuuuuckkkk..... (Original Post) cilla4progress Jul 2022 OP
Perhaps the solution is not to get involved in politics while working on prosecutions. brooklynite Jul 2022 #1
Bragg, now Willes. Don't you want trump to be bought to justice? brush Jul 2022 #6
Trump is not a candidate. Nor does he have an opponent to endorse. brooklynite Jul 2022 #11
I think I'd challenge this. This is pretty clearly a political decision. rsdsharp Jul 2022 #2

All that means is another prosecution agency will be appointed for that one guy.

This was an unforced error by Willis, but will have no long term effect on the investigation.

It’s a slippery slope to hold fundraisers against a candidate and prosecute the candidate at the same time. It’s one fake elector, the grand jury will continue on.

in the campaign for the office for which your target is running.

In this case, Willis was supporting and fundraising for Jones' D opponent. She should've known better.

Yes, I watched the hearing. Willis erred in appearing at a fund-raiser for the Democrat. The judge's ruling was correct, and would have been quickly over-turned if he decided differently. However, it is not as bad as it may seem, as there are others that can take over the investigation.
