We were watching a movie until a few minutes ago, and I just turned on Lawrence O'Donnell and heard about the WaPo breaking news.
WELL DESERVED, Trump. A FEDERAL CRIMINAL INVESTIGATION of a former one-term, twice-impeached president.
This is NOT a case of "There is no "there" there..."
The DOJ has a TRUCKLOAD of evidence to work with. There's an abundance of "there."
This just got really, really interesting.

They've been working on this all along. They've just been leak-proof.
That was said during the hand-off to O'Donnell tonight. But you're right, this didn't spring out of nowhere. If it's now public knowledge, it's been ongoing, and private.
