I wonder if Schumer had a come to Jesus with Manchin about his committee assignment

In the next session should the Dems hold the Senate, as it increasingly looks to be a real possibility.

Manchin said he couldn’t vote for these things just 2 weeks ago.

They got the chip deal done. And then they spring this. Well played. This was likely agreed to months ago.

5. I'm Wondering If Manchin Has Come To The Realization That Things Don't Look So Good For The Repugs..

in 2022 or 2024.

He might be realizing that he'll be hung out by himself if the Repugs don't do well in the upcoming elections.

Maybe he's now coming to his senses and realizes he's going to need the Dems when they maintain the House and Senate.

It's even more problematic for him - if the Dems win at least 52 or more Senate seats.

That's just my theory.

That makes him irrelevant. I’m sure Schumer laid it out nicely.

left her out of the discussion. She has been firmly against the wealthy paying any taxes.

I'm guessing she will kill the bill. BTW why wouldn't she be part of the discussion? This is so weird.

Because he was. That doesn’t make sense to me, but considering it’s her, I put nothing past.
