Jared Kushner says Steve Bannon threatened to break him “in half” during a feud between the fellow White House advisers to former President Donald Trump.

The former presidential son-in-law portrays Bannon as a “toxic” presence in the West Wing who relished interoffice chaos in his forthcoming memoir “Breaking History.”

“Jared, right now, you’re the one undermining the president’s agenda,’ Bannon said, according to Kushner’s book. “And if you go against me, I will break you in half.”

“Don’t f--- with me,” Bannon added, according to excerpts of the book revealed by CNN.

... in a couple of his books.

Michael Wolff had access to everyone on Chump's WH staff for a brief time. But Wolff spent more time interviewing Steve Bannon than just about anyone else. Of course Bannon had his reasons because he knew Wolff was writing a book that would become a bestseller. Whether Wolff ever got confirmation from other sources ... well ... that remains a large question. There's lots o' gossip in Wolff's books and not much proof or documentation.

I think Kushner avoided talking with Wolff because Jared always planned to write his own book when things settled down. Without a doubt, the constant battle between Bannon and Kushner is old news. And I expect this book to be as one-sided as Wolff's.
