But we knew about his misogyny at his appointment hearings. Sen. Ted Kennedy tried to warn us. He belonged to an alumni group at Princeton whose goal was to limit women's involvement at the University. The right wing noise machine blamed Sen. I think it highly inappropriate for any justice / judge to express their political or personal ideology, or to let said ideology influence their decisions.

However, we all know that at least 5 out of the 9 justices do just that.
