Manchin schedules a "Full Ginsburg"

Political Wire

Sen. Joe Manchin (D-WV) has scheduled a “full Ginsburg” for Sunday.

Playbook: “If completed, Manchin will be only the 31st newsmaker to accomplish the feat since Feb. 1, 1998, when William Ginsburg, the lawyer for Monica Lewinsky, first appeared on all five Sunday morning talk shows. Since then, the full Ginsburg has generally been reserved for top government officials during extraordinary news events. The last person to run the gauntlet of all five shows was Anthony Fauci in the early days of the Covid-19 pandemic in March 2020.”

he needs plenty of time to explain why he's obstructed Democrats, the Democratic Party, Democratic policy and our Democratic President for the last 18 months.

His gracious condecension of allowing us one weakened thing doesn't erase all that.

attention (and after having the nerve to not include her in the loop on the new bill), why she might just nuke it out of spite.

Of course I'm joking, I think, but there's always a thought in the back of the mind of what her wackadoodle, DINO-leaning sensibilities will produce.

even though I know such a thing doesn't exist.

I really want this to go through, but I'm having a hard time believing right now.
