For it being the first true test case of voters' opinions after the Dobbs case, it seems like Tuesday's amendment vote in Kansas is largely flying under the radar. I have seen a couple of news article, most notably in The New Yorker but that has been it. National media seems to be ignoring the vote, probably due to it being in a small, midwestern and red state. I have not seen any specific messaging about it from national Dems. The No vote (the pro-women side) seems to be boosted mostly by a homegrown local group.
Have any national or federal Dems lent their voice and support to the No vote?
It seems like the vote is being ignored or swept under the rug, almost as if the result is a foregone conclusion (or maybe being used as an opportunity to feign surprise). Am I completely out of the loop with this belief or do others share my observation?

(13,431 posts)I personally have seen very little but I fully admit my perspective is limited. That's why I asked the question. I would love if national Dems and groups have been working to defeat the amendment. I simply have missed it if that has been happening. Have you seen anything one way or another?
