Okay I realize this is early

but on KWCH website the voting count is as follows 27890 for vote no and 11818 for vote yes. Early I know could go south in a hurry, but I hope I can sleep tonight.

Nothing so far from the state's two largest counties (Johnson and Sedgwick) and nothing from the state's bluest county (Douglas).

1. Johnson - Highly educated and upscale suburban county next to Kansas City, MO. Most populous county in the state and trending blue big time. The state's only Dem rep in Congress is from here. Population: Over 600,000.

2. Sedgwick - Blue-collar county home to Wichita. The city is light blue but the rest of the county is dark red leading to a red county. The city is trending blue and slowing tugging the county with it. Population: About 500,000.

3. Shawnee - Home to the state capital, Topeka. A mix of government workers, blue-collar workers and educated commuters to KC. Swingy county that is trending blue. Population: North of 200,000.

4. Wyandotte - The other suburban KC county, home to Kansas City, KS. Has a large minority population that is becoming more suburban in nature. Has been reliably blue for a while. Population: Over 150,000.

5. Douglas - The college town/city of Lawrence and the University of Kansas (the Jayhawks) is based here. It's the bluest county in the state. I think Bernie won this county. Population: Over 100,000.

I live in Jackson County, MO.

I always get Sedgewick and Douglas Counties backwards. Way to go, Kansans!

but the numbers are still 2 to 1. Okay I need a nap. Also when I go out on my old lady walks, what surprises me is the vote no signs, how many are hand made. People who are motivated
