Rep Eric Swalwell reported something interesting right after 1/6. He was helping an older female Dem MOC who was battling cancer to the secure location. It was tight quarters and he asked a friend of his, an GOP MOC, to put a mask on. This was a personal friend of Swalwells and he asked him directly. This friend was known to be reasonable. To Swalwell's surprise, the friend adamantly and grimly refused to wear a mask.

I think Swalwell knew something was up at that point.

That said: This was a deliberate attempt to overthrow the government of the United States of America. 22. I have often wondered

if someone in the plot got cold feet when they saw/heard about one insurrectionist being shot and killed. They may have pulled the plug on their individual next steps. People need to remember that when she was shot the insurrectionists were only a few feet away from getting at members of Congress. When these GQP types and their apologists cry tears over it we need to confront them with the fact that if this had been women fighting for reproductive care, people of color fighting for rights and against police abuse either group would have been under gunfire long before any MAGATS were.
