(6,309 posts).... That a lot of folks would like to see someone younger to run in 2024. The problem with that is, there has to be someone available who is able to step up to the plate, and generate the enthusiasm needed for a 2024 victory. That particular person, including Kamala Harris has not stepped up, nor has any one person among Democrats been able to generate the excitement everyone felt during Joe Biden's presidential run.
That particular person everyone is looking for to replace President Biden has yet to step forward, and generate the appeal needed to win this coming election. I am not talking about appealing to certain groups, but appealing to a wide range of the Democratic and Independent electorate.
My bottom line is "RUN JOE RUN"!! You're going to have to run the extra leg of the relay race simply because there is not anyone prepared enough for you to hand the baton off to.

Doing a primary against an incumbent is a great way to lose an election!
