The pivot is raising alarm about Metas META, -0.58% priorities and about how some might exploit the worlds most popular social media platforms to spread misleading claims, launch fake accounts and rile up partisan extremists.

Meta/Facebook take in way too much ad money for political ads to actually worry about their accuracy. Mega corporations always choose the path of least resistance...to excessive profit.
