ABC pre-released a 'bad' jobs report using XYZ for the numbers they didn't even have yet.

The corpRAT pwned US media collared and controlled by their corprat owners who want to keep their tax-free/low tax status at the expense of the rest of the country they operate in. They never fail to downplay, totally ignore and/or report negatively any and all Democratic administration accomplishments no matter how positive for most of the country, the economy, climate, and no matter how phenomenal compared to other administrations. They ALWAYS come in with the negative headlines, commentary, negative slants on stories EVEN BEFORE THEY HAVE THE DAMN DATA and facts.

Thanking America for hiring him as "CEO"or whatever you want to call it. And for implementing the administration's policies. Thank them for an incredible partnership resulting in the current numbers.

Good night, folks.
God bless America.
God bless our troops.

Btw, to any Debbie Downers who might chime in about what networks will or won't carry such an address - I don't give a crap. He ought to just do it. Blow the Dem horn loudly and often. Then let the chips fall. It's an election year.

News networks often don't wait for the numbers to drop before writing these sorts of stories. They'll usually have boilerplate for each possible outcome, then fill in the numbers/details quickly so they can be first to press.

It's unfortunate that the wrong boilerplate slipped out.

I'm sure they also have pile of obituaries pre-written just in case a famous person dies.

But yes, pre-writing a standard article has been increasingly a thing with instant, internet-based news services. They just want to plug in names/numbers and hit publish. I guess people are having a "today I learned" about that.

But it's still really funny they published it.

I'm surprised though they had their "lower jobs" boilerplate include a statement that they were the lowest gain since December. So they must have been pretty sure of a specific number or a small range.

Looking at the jobs numbers:
https://data.bls.gov/timeseries/CES0000000001?output_view=net_1mth

Monthly changes of All employees, thousands, total nonfarm, seasonally adjusted, Total nonfarm
IN THOUSANDS
YEAR JAN FEB MAR etc. etc.
2021 520 710 704 263 447 557 689 517 424 677 647 588
2022 504 714 398 368 386 398 528

Odder too given that December (+588k jobs ) was a high gain month.

So they probably wrote a template assuming it came in at the estimate.

The little children of the heads of the corporate media. Parents who must sell their souls at every turn and tell any lie on command so they can put food on the table for the bottomless-pit-like gullets of their invasively greedy and ecology wrecking spawn. Come to papa my little fishes.

I despise their hypocrisy and that they presume us all Cretins and ninnies. Look left, look right, you're almost certain to see one of them or, at least, their slime trail.
