I find it funny how republicans are trying to spin the great jobs report as bad for President Biden,

When TFG's job lost under him was the greatest number of jobs lost since Hoover, and why this Presidents job's gained is so high. TFG predicted if Biden was elected he's fail miserably creating jobs. The republican media don't bring that up either. TFG was a failure creating jobs , unless you want to believe people that lie about fake election fraud they refuse to produce evidence of. President Biden IS cleaning up the mess TFG made, and why republicans are voting against helping us recover from it by voting no on bills needed to help American.

By saying if TFG hadn't have caused so many jobs to be lost under his administration he wouldn't of had so many jobs to fill.

In this country than anyone since Hoover. But thanks to Biden, the jobs have come back and we're finally handling Covid, too.

Then show how many jobs under President Biden and the Democrats have been created, and how TFG claimed Biden would failed at creating jobs. Or maybe The Lincoln Project for commercials.

We have to counter the lies continuing to come from the right - and I agree that The Lincoln Project does a great job pointing these facts out.

I suppose it depends how one picks the start and end points --

But comparing January 2017 to January 2021. Or February 2017 to Februrary 2021, there were fewer jobs at the end of Slobfather's term than at the beginning (the presidency changed hands on January 20, 2017 at noon and January 20, 2021 at noon).

Meaning every Biden month has been better than Slobfather's entire presidency, as Biden hasn't had a negative month yet.

Even pre-pandemic, Slobfather was a mediocre job creator:

Presidential jobs creation table (post WWII presidents) in January 2020 at near the height of the pre-Covid economy, and so is Trump at his best, and even then, 5 of 6 post-WWII Democratic presidents beat his record. (At the end of his term, he was the only one with a negative jobs creation record -- fewer jobs than when he started)

. . . https://www.democraticunderground.com/?com=view_post&forum=1014&pid=2880567

As for Obama, he inherited the deepest recession since World War II, which lost 4.2 million jobs in the last 10 months of his predecessor, and in the last 3 months of his predecessor was losing 753,000 jobs a month. With that momentum, job losses continued for the first 13 months of the Obama presidency -- through February 2010 -- totalling 4.3 million jobs lost during those 13 months.

Anyway, despite the 4.3 million jobs lost in his first 13 months because of the Bush crash, Obama still beats 4 of the last 7 post-WWII Republican presidents (the count of 7 post-WWII Republican presidents includes Trump -- in this sentence I'm including his entire term which was negative job growth). Of these Republican presidents, only Nixon, Reagan, and Ford had better records than Obama, and Ford only edged him out by 0.01 percentage points.
