Because the job market is doing great right now. So good, workers are even being paid more. Employers can no longer treat their workers as interchangeable cogs because there isn't a line of people waiting to take their job.

9. What's even sicker...

Even when they KNOW that they are being lied to, they ignore the truth and stick with the lies they are being told. Think about it... Trump was exposed telling Bob Woodward just how dangerous the COVID-19 virus was, how easily it spread, and that he had lied to the American people. Once his base heard Trump say in his own words that the virus was extremely contagious and deadly, you would have thought that they might be hesitant to accept it when Trump goes back to lying about it! But not Trump's base -- no way! They decided to take horse dewormer and possibly inject Clorox into their bodies to combat the virus instead of simply wearing a mask in public. Have his base become so used to being lied to that they actually prefer it to being told the truth? Is that why they ignored the truth about the virus?
