There is no way the FBI went rogue in this instance. It cannot be a set-up for two important reasons.

1. They had a search warrant which means they went to a judge to show probable cause.

2. Director Wray signed off on the application for the warrant and the search. Take that to the bank. There's no other way this could have happened.

Trump's reaction is typical for him and I'm sure he and his lawyers are starting to feel a little heat.

I think that the benefits are good. It is directly tied to the missing documents. If he got rid of them, he is still in trouble, because he had them last, and had no right to.
