Today has been a day hasn't it.

Hech we've had rain off and on for the past week in Tucson even. Got a storm going right now.

On top of that we lost the great Olivia Newton John and then ..... boom! Trump got raided.

It's been something to me, that's for sure!

How about you all?

We could see an indictment by the end of it and Tucson may get up to a decent amount of rain.

He wrote some of the most readable biographies and histories -- Truman, 1776, John Adams, Mornings on Horseback (Theodore Roosevelt), The Path Between the Seas (the Panama Canal). He won the Pulitzer Prize and the National Book Award. Twice. Each.

But most of us know him best for his beautifully modulated, melodious voice, especially for his narration of Ken Burn's The Civil War.

He passed on Sunday, but his death was quickly overshadowed by the passing of Olivia Newton-John. And then the FBI went to Mar-a-Lago.

McCullough lived a full and meaningful life. I wish that more people would have the chance to know that.

Passed away today. Future DIL has always said when she sees a deer she feels like her gmom is with her. Tonight coming to our house, they saw a doe and a buck, standing by the side of the road watching them long enough for them to stop and take a picture.

Today has been a sad but good day.

And we need every drop to cut down fires.

Every time ya turn around, up pops a new. We got real nervous in 2021 when a fire got to close for comfort to Tucson.
