That's my Bills we're talking about. I know it may have saved the country, but him owning the team would have meant a 30 or even 40 year playoff drought.

He joined the USFL in order to do that. He thought that if they would compete in the fall that he would get a franchise. He sued and he was awarded triple damages. They gave him $3.00. He also wanted to own the Bills but the owners shut him out.

Out of the 14 teams the NFL started with in 1920, only 2 remain.

Perhaps almost all college football players would've eventually refused to play for the NFL (given another option), after Trump repeatedly made "Jimmy the Greek" kinds of comments as a team owner?
