(2,133 posts)He joined the USFL in order to do that. He thought that if they would compete in the fall that he would get a franchise. He sued and he was awarded triple damages. They gave him $3.00. He also wanted to own the Bills but the owners shut him out.

(14,853 posts)Perhaps almost all college football players would've eventually refused to play for the NFL (given another option), after Trump repeatedly made "Jimmy the Greek" kinds of comments as a team owner?
