For example in Texas, the Republicans in the legislature passed a bill which the Republican governor signed into law allowing bounty hunters to go after female children who have been the victims of rape.

Not allowing licensed bounty hunters to go after the rapist.

But allowing self-appointed bounty hunters to pursue little girls who've been rape victims.

(Not that it's politically relevant yet but I wonder how the police are supposed to sort out the creeps who are following little girls looking for chances to rape them from the self-appointed bounty hunters who are following little girls around thinking the little girl might have been a rape victim and hoping the girls will do something "suspicious" so the bounty hunter can take her to court and cash in on it.)
