What I had never considered was whether it was OUR nuclear tech he was peddling. It might have been Israel's tech he was selling to the Saudis. If that turned out to be the case it would be very, very bad for Trump and the GOP.

That’s a really good point. We don’t know what kind of documents the FBI suspected they’d find, and from what I can tell we don’t know what they actually found. Still, this is truly frightening that him having stolen nuclear weapons documents is a serious possibility.

But it’s early and we don’t know much yet, including whether they found what they suspected they might and whether the documents were about the US or another country. It has been reported the documents were so sensitive they needed to act immediately in order to secure them.
