Could give a shit about his moronic, fan club love-letters, but this is on a whole different level of treason.

He also installed his puppets into high levels of government. They gave him what he wanted.

(18,855 posts)If he wanted to know Top Secret statistics on a specific warhead or missile, he wouldn't be given a file or pile of papers.
He'd be met with a group of Pentagon folks who would give a presentation. Knowing Trump... lots of pictures.
I don't know if/how/why he'd obtain the actual documents.

There is no way such documents in his possession would be an oopsie. None.

(97,264 posts)crossed my mind: What if the fucker wanted his own nuke? His own private stash?
Remember how he responded to North Korea with I have my own nuclear button and it's bigger?
And how he sounded like a kid with a new toy each time he talked about nukes and what they can do? How he wanted to use them all the time and couldn't understand why we had them if we didn't use them?
Just a crazy thought that crossed my mind.
Crazy.

(103,805 posts)I would consider that a valid concern and one I hadn't quite gotten to yet. But that is a serious possibility.
I out absolutely NOTHING past that fucker. It's "give me everything I want when I want it or nobody can have anything." He and pootin have that suicide with casualties mindset to a more than dangerous level.

He likely didn't have tech level info.
And if he asked for it, I hope he would have been given honey pot data.

(2,679 posts)I have 2 theories:
1) He was selling the docs to the highest bidder. I honestly dont think this was the case although I know most here do.
2) he wanted to brag about some new technology that was developed under his presidency to his buddies. Woodward made mention of this for his book a couple years ago Trump alluding to some new technology no one has seen before. He just couldnt help himself probably he had to brag.

(17,757 posts)in order to jail him for the actual act. He should spend the rest of his days behind bars, beginning today he should be in solitary confinement awaiting trial.
If it turns out that he actually transferred documents to a foreign power he should get the Eddie Slovik treatment. The last words whispered in his ear should be, "You're fired."

(17,580 posts)and to show off to those he wants to impress is my guess.
Remember, Trump has always longed to be part of the elite moneyed and influencers, but they won't have him. Having top secret and beyond documents is just another way for him to "show them".
Jmho, it isn't any more complicated than that.

(576 posts)In 2019 Michael Flynn and other Trump cronies wanted to sell Nuclear technology to Saudi Arabia. Not sure if they ever were able to do it. Combine this along with the LIV golf tournament (Trump backed and Saudi financed), 2 billion the Saudis gave Jared along with the fact Trump is heavily in debt so who is financing that.
