anyway during my travels I noticed they cleared the woods away and erected a satellite FBI office.

If I didn't travel that route to get to work I would never have known about it.

Not local, about 1 hour from here. We pass it on the way to visit our family.

It was featured in National Geographic when they featured a U.S. zip code and described what was there. People raised holy hell when they used the zip code and described the FBI offices there.

It is several buildings and they look like they would be really hard to get to. It sits in an area with no other buildings around it and has what looks like security you'd see in a movie. Fences, guard house and one place with barriers that pop out of the ground.

We're also a big city, so the main Federal building is pretty obvious downtown in the city's "legal and regional government" complex area.

It’s heavily secured and indistinct but easy to find and on my way home.

36. Pretty hard to miss in LA, its right off the 405 at Wilshire, very near UCLA, & in the same complex

as the passport office. I drove past it so many times.

That is the only one I know of. other than the national HQ in DC.
