Preemptively invoking the O.J. Defense is more than a little telling. It strongly suggests consciousness of guilt.

You don’t claim, without a shred of evidence, that law enforcement planted documents during a search and seizure unless you believe that they found something incriminating. If you believe that the evidence seized was exculpatory or merely innocuous, you don’t cast doubt on it. Just the opposite. You use the evidence to your advantage. You talk about birthday cards, personal notes to your family, copies of newspaper clippings and the like. Then you bide your time until you can say “I told you so."

1. His excuses make no sense at all

Apparently these discussions with the Govt about the absconded documents have been going since Trump left the White House... including the return of the 15 boxes a while back and even an ignored subpoena to get the rest (after much Trump obstruction). The DOJ has surely documented everything in great detail. Anyone helping Trump now does so at great peril and sooner than later there could be treason and espionage charges. Trump will go down in flames... with great caterwauling. It's gonna get ugly.

3. I was thinking about this yesterday...

All of my MAGAT relatives that were old enough at the time believed OJ was guilty. Funny now that they are now trying to float the same defense that OJ, and probably most drug dealers try to use when they are caught red-handed.
