Gotta feel a little sympathy for President Biden...

In the same few weeks that he's achieving some of the biggest successes of his presidency, and the news cycle is being overwhelmed by the noxious fumes left over from the previous guy's rampage of corruption.

Anyway, as the House prepares to give final passage to the giant climate, tax, and health care bill, I'd like to congratulate President Biden and congressional Democrats for that and all the other achievements in the last few weeks-- the PACT Act, the semiconductor bill, blockbuster jobs report, a slowing down of inflation, and taking out Zawahiri.

When things go wrong it is logical to blame the person in office but he really did not have anything to do with the problems we now have - climate denial, insurrection, inflation (covid related), or gas prices.

Keep up the good work - you will get what's coming to you in the end.

And I'd like to nominate the person who thought up "Inflation Reduction Act" to permanent bill-namer. Up until now, the press was calling it "Biden's massive spending bill." What in hell is a spending bill? isn't any budget appropriation a spending bill?

Our Dems will have plenty of good stuff to run on.

Okay, I think, for once, I'll accept TFG taking the oxygen out of the room. The general election is in ten weeks, the Republicans are in an absolute meltdown as their standard bearer sinks into the mire, gas prices are falling, inflation is tapering off, people are riled up about Roe, and the GOP has a bunch of Trump bootlickers going into the general election with people now wondering how THEY are complicit in this whole mess. The Democrats have a solid raft of legislation behind them that should help everyone, and the J6 committee is quite effectively draining the swamp.

Yeah, that's okay. Joe's week is going JUST FINE!
