they are allowed to do proxy vote. I think the only time that should be allowed is if the person is sick, has a close relative that is sick or death in family. Just my opinion.

7. The repukes are playing games. Technically there's not

a quorum. They are hoping private entities will sue saying the vote doesn’t count because there wasn’t a quorum.

12. Under the Covid rules, proxi votes count to the quorum.

The House is still in a designated Covid period. It had to be re-upped every 45 days by the Attending Physician and the Sergeant at Arms. The House Rules Committee came up with a process to keep the House running during Covid.
