trying to hear the latest on the document scandal and it's hard to listen to her stumble over words and struggle to get simple sentences out. I know she announced she's leaving soon but IMO she should've left quite a while ago as she hasn't been showing a great degree of competence for years, not to mention her obvious partisan leaning to the right she exhibits, especially against Hillary.
Anyone know when she's leaving?

(6,991 posts)job yesterday. She's now a clownish HACK, who stumbles, stutters, bumbles, fumbles her way through telecasts, who also shows favoritism to the GQP US Taliban party because of her stupid bothsiderisms analogies. Funny, but I don't recall a Dem president or Dems starting a whole ass civil insurrection at the US Capitol in modern times, nor an installed president with russia's help whose in as much trouble as fatso is due to the fact that he more than likely was selling sensitive documents to his despot buddies overseas for money. He IS a secret agent for foreign countries against his OWN country.
Yeah, Mrs. Hack needs to hit the road and fast. She's doing more and more damage to what little credibility/career she has left and what she has left of a career and credibility is running on empty as Jackson Browne would say.

(88,932 posts)When she hadnt yet started mangling and getting lost in the copy. Its become painful to watch. Shes stayed WAY past her sell-by date.
Its unfortunate, because she could have legitimately gone out celebrated for her long career, period. But she held on too long, and our last memories of her broadcasts are of a woman in serious mental decline.
If THATS how you want to go out, well, okay, I guess. People remember most easily what they heard or saw last.

Having your time as your own with no boss and office to rush to is glorious.

(12,046 posts)Almost the point that she hasn't the energy to finish sentences. I think the absurdity of Trump just completely wore out her both siderism.

(6,991 posts)He's earned the right to have his OWN show. Whether he's out in the field, or around the world or at the desk doing his newscasts/filling in for other hosts, Ali ALWAYS delivers the goods.

(88,932 posts)Hes earned it, toiling in the back of the vineyard and paying his dues. Hes got the credibility too.
And frankly, they can overhaul their weeknight lineup, too.
It may be heresy to say here, but Id talk to Rachel Maddow. Tell her were NOT gonna chop up the five-day workweek just cuz you dont feel like putting g the time in anymore.
NO MORE just-work-Mondays.
Sorry!
Were gonna go back to five-day weekdays/weeknights. And if you dont want to do that anymore and you want just one night? Then well give you a biggie on the weekends. How bout your own version of a Saturday Night Special?
A Maddow-designed riff on the old That Was the Week that Was? Two hours leading into the little cal news and Saturday Night Live. The Rachel version of Must-See TV. You can work on it whatever hours you want and we can promote the bejeezuss out of it. Event TV, with your take on the weeks news.
I think thatd be Must-See TV for loads of Rachel fans. Id certainly love to see her take on the week. She could put the official period on the end of the sentence, and do it HER way.
