Crowds line up to see Obama, Clinton at Jiffy Lube

____ Jessica Stein and her friends Adam Gosney and Ramon Bullard got to Prince William County about 9 a.m. for what could be one of Obama’s last appearances in the area before Tuesday’s election.

Taylor Cockerille a college student at Christopher Newport University in Newport News, wore a baby blue sweatshirt with the slogan “Poor College Students for Obama” printed on the back . . .

She said she thought Obama had more empathy for college students since he has two daughters approaching college age, so she came to Jiffy Lube Live before 4 p.m. to stand in line, outside, in the cold for Obama’s appearance that was scheduled for 10:35 p.m.

Maiysha Stokes, of Fairfax, bundled up in a purple scarf and a knit cap with the Obama campaign logo on the front and said the wait in the cold would be “worth it . . .”
