NEW: According to a DOJ official, the FBI is NOT in possession of former President Trump's passports. Trump had accused the FBI of stealing his three passports during the search of his Mar-a-Lago home.

And one expired, according to an earlier report. I have three passports, one expired in 1975, then I didn’t have one for 30 years, one expired in 2015, and my current one, valid until 2025. I should shred the expired ones but haven’t yet.

The black ones are for Department of State employees, Embassy staff, diplomats and POTUS, VPOTUS. They are for government business and not for leisure/pleasure travel.

The brown/maroon ones are for FBI agents, politicians, government contractors, as well as active military (and spouses). Good for five years or end of service.

The blue ones are what most Americans carry. (They were green until 1976.)

I just like to figure out why people tell certain specific lies.

There are a lot of lies for Trump to choose from. Why did he pick this particular lie.

The lies we tell usually reveal something.

He also said today that the temperature was getting hot? What did he mean by that? He doesn't want to "calm" down anything.

I suspect he may be getting paranoid. They are probably tapping his phone? How else can he communicate?

29. Or the lies reflect something on his mind, something he is concerned about.

So we know he is thinking about his passports right now.

In terms of the "temperature is getting hot" statements, Trump is saying what he was saying on 1/6.

-I have the power to raise an army if I don't get what I want.

-I have the power to burn it all down if you come after me.

-And I have the power to shut down the rebellion if you back off.

-I am powerful and you need to be afraid of me.

When the FBI is working on a big criminal case, the surveillance, raids, etc., are in part designed to make the crime members get paranoid, to make them make mistakes or start making deals with the FBI. They want the criminals to start getting buggy.

I am not sure who Trump will be talking with right now.

Usually the crime ring is talking to each other to get stories straight, change locations of the loot, or other plan changes. Reassure each other.

But Trump typically feels invincible, so not sure what he is doing. But I did think he sounded a bit wobbly yesterday and today.

He could be calling Jared and Ivanka. Jared is the most likely suspect to flip on him. Jared I think was the money/bagman conducting the deals. He would for sure give testimony about Trump to save his own skin.

This would make communication quite difficult.

(Of course this is Trump so who knows if the FBI only came by to pick up the boxes and return them to the US government.)

Generally if there are many serious crimes committed, and the FBI is involved, the target would have a hard time leaving the country because of surveillance.

Like Paul Manafort was arrested at Miami International headed for Dubai. He most likely was being followed and the FBI had to make the arrest before he boarded the plane. Even if the FBI doesn't have all the evidence they would like, they are going to have to nab the target right away before he gets on the plane.

I don't see Trump being able to get on a Russian or Saudi plane right now?

I don't know how Trump would escape. If it were me committing one of the worst crimes in American history, a sitting US president selling national security secrets, I would have an escape plan.

Perhaps I would sneak away from my SS agents guarding me in the middle of the night, have a small motor boat take me out to a yacht sailing off the coast of Florida. Russian subs are typically patrolling off the east coast of the US and one could swing by and pick me up.

Of course Trump is not smart enough to think of this and figures he has no need to make an escape plan. He can threaten to burn down the country and the DOJ will back off.
