Val Demings came out on top in the head-to-head against Marco Rubio for U.S. Senate, with 48% indicating a vote for Demings and 44% for Rubio, with 7% saying they would vote for someone else.

(71,555 posts)Jaime Harrison is a good guy but does not have the experience needed IMHO. And this year is so damn important! He is by all accounts a prodigious fundraiser and that is important but there are other things in that job that only experience can teach you.

(96,882 posts)He had a dispute with Rahm over funding priorities (winnable House races vs State Party building), but that had nothing to do with his tenure. President Obama picked Tim Kaine as DNC Chair when Dean's term ended.

(5,516 posts)We lost narrowly in strong GOP years in 2010 and 2014. Obama carried the state. We would have won in 2018 had our candidate not had legal issues (for which he has since been indicated).
Take down Desantis, we've kneecapped the not-Trump frontrunner for president.

(849 posts)I live in Florida. I know folks on the "other side". They openly bragged on FB during the last presidential election on how they lied to the pollsters. The "ghost" of Nate Silver throws shade on any Florida poll. I don't believe them!

(40 posts)Better a Dem Senator then Gov. Florida legislature has been R controlled for almost 30 years. A Dem Gov would be great, but nowhere near as valuble as another Dem Senator.
