Trying to donate, why does Paypal need my email when I am using credit card.

you’ll be taken to a PayPal page — at the bottom of that page there should be a grey button that says “Pay with debit or credit card” — select that, and you’ll be able to check out as a guest without having to log into a PayPal account.
