personally went through the stolen docs to see which ones to keep and which one to give back to the FBI.
Turn it on now. It's a breaking NYT story that he did this in front of witnesses.

Maybe Im wrong, but Im thinking those documents are written by scientists for scientists. So how could a dufus with an eighth grade reading level if hes lucky possibly know what they contained? Somebody had to tell him.

The trump cabal are not nice people. Money and power are their currency. They've lost power but are not at all above stealing and using the last remnants of their power to get as much money as they can.
These crooks need to go to jail.

(2,030 posts)it turns out, they really didn't need security clearances at all since Traitor Trump was swiping classified documents and letting God knows who see them.

(53,778 posts)level "furniture" according to the NYT (try lawyers and other higher-ups). This looks like the biggest break in the story yet as it puts the docs in trump's hands deciding which ones to keep and which to give back...docs he of course had no business having at all.
The story will be repeated and of course it'll be on "Morning Joe" and all the shows tomorrow.

It reported that trump presonally picked and and kept back the docs he wanted to keep and the ones he wanted to give back to the FBI. This is extremely damaging as it puts the documents in trump's hands, meaning he had personal possession not just had them stored. This is all that's needed to indict according to a guest on the O'Donnell show.

(10,125 posts)On June 3, Jay Bratt, the chief of the counterespionage section of the national security division of the Justice Department, went to Mar-a-Lago to meet with two of Mr. Trumps lawyers, Evan Corcoran and Christina Bobb, and retrieve any remaining classified material to satisfy the subpoena. Mr. Corcoran went through the boxes himself to identify classified material beforehand, according to two people familiar with his efforts.
Mr. Corcoran showed Mr. Bratt the basement storage room where, he said, the remaining material had been kept.
Mr. Trump briefly came to see the investigators during the visit.
Mr. Bratt and the agents who joined him were given a sheaf of classified material, according to two people familiar with the meeting. Mr. Corcoran then drafted a statement, which Ms. Bobb, who is said to be the custodian of the documents, signed. It asserted that, to the best of her knowledge, all classified material that was there had been returned, according to two people familiar with the statement.
Mr. Corcoran did not respond to repeated requests for comment.

These people were custodian of the classified documents and went through the boxes to pull classified documents. They should have security clearance but their bios do not reflect that.
