Republican women let's chat.
So in 1974 you had to have a man cosign on any kind of contract for you to be able to do fugging anything. Women tried to fight against this to have autonomy over their own finances and what did Republicans do? They voted against the Equal Credit Act.

In 1978 it was completely legal to fire a woman for becoming pregnant. And again women fought against this and Republicans voted against the Pregnancy Act.

In 1980 it was completely OK for you to be sexually harassed in the workplace. So again women fought against this and what did Republicans do? They voted against the Sexual Harassment in the Workplace Act.

In 1994 women were seeking justice for domestic violence. So what did Republicans do? They voted against the Violence Against Women Act .

In 2012 women were asking for equal pay for equal work and in turn Republicans voted against the Equal Pay for Equal Work Act
Also in 2012 when the Violence Against Women Act was up for reauthorization Republicans voted against it again.

And that brings us to today when women are just fighting to have the right over their own privacy and over their own reproductive health, what are Republicans actively doing? They're trying to take away not only the right over your own reproductive health but the right of privacy over your own health choices.

Republicans have always hated women.

Why the fuck are you voting Republican as a woman?

I would like every woman who votes Republican to see this video and explain why they vote the way they do.
We're talking decades of deliberate anti-woman action by Republicans.
It's the same as when women stay in an abusive relationship, only this time it's a whole party that is deliberately beating on them.
Republican women need to walk away from their abusers. They need to start living a life where they make choices that work in favor of women, not their, almost always male, political abusers.

Given that breadth, I think there's an excellent chance that a certain % of females are probably born with this proclivity. As is the general tendency in males to want to dominate females. Logic would suggest both are a persistent result of our genetic/evolutionary heritage (albeit possibly somewhat random, kinda like being born gay seems random).

and that tendency has been intertwined with religious dogma on submissiveness.

Some people are genuinely submissive, both male and female, but probably more females than males.

Some women are actually total go-getter, ball-busting managers at work, and then come home and just want to be told what to do and not have to 'manage' anything. Believe me, I've been in relationships with women like that, I'd guess there's some men like that as well.

I think it has much to do with the fact that we're genetically still just pack animals, where certain individuals are leaders.

Which requires, in the interest of social cohesion (which enhances overall survival prospects), for there to exist a 'submissive gene', if you will.

That said ... these men you describe, for the most part ... they almost always actually want to be led by other men. They may get into a relationship with a more dominant female due to these traits, but at the same time they're probably 'cheating' with Fox, Infowars, Rush (back in the day), etc.

This is why there's such an allure with Trump, Hitler, Stalin and their ilk. Submissive MEN really want MEN to tell them what to do.

I'm not saying women don't do a similar gather-round with powerful women, they do. But it's different.

Women can be led to charismatic male political leaders, but men ... almost never are in reverse.

That's enough to shift the overall balance of power, IMHO.
