One of the ways down the hill we live on would take us past an old beat up pick-up truck in front of a slightly rundown garage (the house faced the other way). The truck had a bumper sticker that said "If it Ain't King James it Ain't The Bible!"

I studied at a conservative Christian college in the 1970s. All versions of the Protestant Bible were accepted.
