WaPo Bombshell: Trump Took Boxes of Material on Trips Around the World for 'No Reason'
There are a couple of salient facts that many people do not know regarding the problem with Trump keeping Top-Secret/SCI files. They paint a very sinister picture.
First, these boxes at issue had been kept in the residence of the White House for some time prior to Trump moving back down to Mar-a-Lago. Indeed, there was enough concern about these very boxes that there were discussions weeks prior to the move with White House Counsel Pat Cipollone about getting these boxes back. Just reading through the lines one can tell that others (Archivists and the intelligence community) were acutely aware of the fact that Trump kept these records in the residence, didn’t like it, and was already worried about his plans for them.

Then the Washington Post buried the lede a bit. This paragraph is simply shocking in light of all we’ve read to this point:
Boxes of documents even came with Trump on foreign travel, following him to hotel rooms around the world — including countries considered foreign adversaries of the United States.
“There was no rhyme or reason — it was classified documents on top of newspapers on top of papers people printed out of things they wanted him to read. The boxes were never organized,” Grisham said. “He’d want to get work done on long trips so he’d just rummage through the boxes. That was our filing system.”'>>>

Everything I suspected. People would have thought I was really wacko if I had said it all in public. I did tell a couple confidants and they call me to tell me how shocked they are that I was right and that it's all so absurd.
There's more. We haven't heard much about the traitors who were placed at the pentagon or the thread that connects pompeo and others.
It's just one bombshell after another after another. And each one seems to be worse than the last. I'm staring to feel downright shell shocked.
I have been patient all along, I haven't been one of those screaming "Lock him up now now NOW!!1!11!!" But this is becoming unbearable. What the hell is next? 
I simply can't think of another reason for such bizarre behavior.
I recall some remarks made by Bolton about this stuff and then found an Axios article that mentioned Bolton's comments to the NYT -

Former national security adviser John Bolton told the New York Times that former President Trump, whom he served under for over 17 months, is "almost certainly" lying about why he had classified material at his Mar-a-Lago estate.
Why it matters: After a search warrant unsealed Friday revealed FBI agents recovered classified documents from Mar-a-Lago, Trump and his team claimed he had a "standing order" dictating that documents taken from the Oval Office to his residence were "deemed to be declassified the moment he removed them."
What he's saying: Bolton told the Times he had never heard of any such standing order. It is "almost certainly a lie," he said.
"I was never briefed on any such order, procedure, policy when I came in," Bolton said. "If he were to say something like that, you would have to memorialize that, so that people would know it existed." Trump's clubs in Florida and New Jersey had installed secure facilities for the purpose of viewing top secret documents, Bolton noted — Trump shouldn't have needed to declassify anything. Moreover, declassified materials are subject to public record requests, Bolton pointed out. "When somebody begins to concoct lies like this, it shows a real level of desperation."
The big picture: The unsealed warrant showed that the materials recovered from the estate were only meant to be kept in secure government facilities.

He continued, “When somebody begins to concoct lies like this, it shows a real level of desperation.”
The claim that the documents held in the Florida residence were declassified also undercut an assertion one of Mr. Trump’s lawyers made in June. In a written declaration, the lawyer’s team said all material marked as classified and stored at Mar-a-Lago had been returned to the government.

Bolton said Trump had a knack for accumulating large amounts of paper, and he can remember seeing "piles and piles" of it inside the White House dining room. He served as Trump's national security adviser from 2018 to 2019.
Trump also had several letters from North Korea's leader Kim Jong-un, one of which made its way into the White House without going through the proper screenings, said Bolton, who was later able to grab, screen and secure that letter, but not several others he received.
"We weren't successful on the other letters, for reasons I'm not entirely clear about," Bolton recalled. "He kept them in a file in one of the secretary's offices...And I know he showed them to people."

And I know a lot of focus has obviously been on MAL, and only recently, some mention of Bedminister in NJ., but am still waiting to hear "Sterling" (in VA, which is closest to the WH and where he would retreat to "play golf" ) and just plain old NYC where he was born and raised and lived until recently, and where he (and his children and in-laws) still have properties there.

President Donald Trump's finances have come under renewed scrutiny after The New York Times published an investigation on Sunday. It found that the real-estate mogul has outstanding debt on many of his properties — $1.1 billion to be exact.
Not only does his company own more than $2 billion in real estate across New York City, Washington, DC, Chicago, San Francisco, and other major US cities, he also has more than $122 million in personal real estate along the Atlantic, according to Forbes estimates.
In June 2019, Trump sold his personal property out West, a 5,395-square-foot Tudor-style mansion in Beverly Hills, for $13.5 million, reported Jack Flemming for The Los Angeles Times. That leaves Trump's real-estate portfolio of eight properties now spanning three states and one Caribbean Island. And while impressive, it's just a fraction of his overall net worth — an estimated $2.1 billion.
But he owes $100 million against Trump Tower, where he lived before moving into the White House, and has small loans against a couple of mansions, according to the investigation.

I had remembered some of the utterances from Bolton - some attributed to the book he has been apparently writing now for several years, but missed this thing about the supposed "construction" of secure areas at MAL and Bedminister. Who knows what that even means and whether (if true) they were ever used. 
Not "Devil's Advocate" because from various reports where several of them had been quoted about how they tried to get him to read stuff that they had compiled. But remember he also had a revolving door of people so...
