Karl Rove: "A Trump indictment would tear the country apart."

You'll have to take my word on this. He said it on "Fox News Sunday".

As I have said before, the fucking country is already torn apart and it's because of Trump and Trump supporters like Rove whose only agenda is stopping Biden.

He also said Biden hasn't kept his promise to bring the country together, in regards to some of Biden's recent comments criticizing the MAGA bunch by name...pure hypocrisy. He didn't mention all the derogatory, name calling comments against the Democrats that show up on Twitter and Fox on a daily basis, by the likes of MTG and Boebert.

And I am not being hyperbolic. It makes it incredibly clear there are no consequences, that the President is, in fact, above the law. It signals to the next wanna-be dictator (and there will be one, and they’ll be smarter than Trump) that they can toss the rules out the window and declare themselves untouchable and no one will even push back. They cannot give him a pass if he’s done even a fraction of what’s alleged… and I suspect it’s far worse than we even know.

Me.

They say that holding him responsible and making him face the consequences is what will tear the country apart.

And, considering a majority of Americans want to see the former guy prosecuted for any crimes he may have committed, the only people who would "tear the country apart" are a bunch of bitter dead-enders who have no respect for the Constitution or the nation. So, you know, fuck those snowflakes.

A Trump indictment will bring together those who are capable of being brought together.

For the first 6 decades of my life I have believed in the power of communication, the importance of facts, and the good will of others - even those who do not agree with me on policy - to reach compromises which are reasonable (even if not ideal) for our country. The first half of my 6th decade is different. We no longer agree on basic facts, and threatening election workers, employees of the national archives, and the FBI for doing their jobs with integrity is beyond the pale.

So while I might have chosen differently in Gerald Ford's case, his pardon of Nixon did more to heal a divide than perpetuate it. That is not true for the failure to indict (or any potential pardon) of Trump. Those who support him are a cult in a way this country has not seen before, at least not in numbers large enough to destroy civilization as we know it.

... until the DemocRAT Party came along with their Russia and Mueller investigations. Then their DemocRAT Impeachment #1 and DemocRAT Impeachment #2. Now their trDUMP subpoenas and their trDUMP Indictments.

If the DemocRAT Party had not pursued all these trDUMP wrongdoings everything would be coming up daffodils and tulips politically and we would not be on the brink of Civil War #2.

It is all because of the meddlesome DemocRAT Party that politics has become so dysfunctional.
