Biden hurts New Hampshire Governor Sununu's feefees

Last edited Sun Aug 28, 2022, 09:28 PM - Edit history (1)

New Hampshire Gov. Chris Sununu (R) on Sunday called for President Biden to issue an apology after the president compared the “Make America Great Again,” otherwise known as MAGA, wing of the Republican Party to “semi-fascism” last week.

Sununu told CNN’s Dana Bash on “State of the Union” that the president’s comments were “horribly insulting.”

“The fact that the president would go out and just insult half of America [and] effectively call half of America semi-fascist,” Sununu said. “He’s trying to stir up controversy. He’s trying to stir up this anti-Republican sentiment right before the election. It’s horribly inappropriate.”

At a Democratic National Committee fundraising event in Bethesda, Md., last week, Biden said the U.S. was seeing “either the beginning or the death knell of an extreme MAGA philosophy.”

On edit: more crying from Sununu.

GOP Gov. Sununu — whose home state of New Hampshire has one of the highest education loan averages in the country — calls student debt relief 'inherently unfair' and Biden's loan cancellation 'fairly illegal'

New Hampshire GOP Gov. Chris Sununu said on CNN's State of the Union Sunday that he opposes loan forgiveness measures, despite the benefits the financial relief could offer to his constituents.

Sununu's home state is ranked as having the highest rate of student loan indebtedness this year by personal finance site WalletHub, with an average of $34,085 in outstanding loans, according to the Education Data Initiative.

"I take kind of exception with individuals, especially out of Washington, saying, this is a student loan crisis," Sununu told CNN's Dana Bash. "What's the crisis? Folks get a degree. They get a job. We have more high-paying jobs than ever before for young people. They're low-interest loans. They have been deferred for a couple of years."

Nationwide, the average federal student loan debt balance is $37,667, an amount that 83% of non-homeowners say is preventing them from buying a home, according to the National Association of Realtors. Prior to the moratorium on student loan payments implemented during the pandemic, the average monthly loan payment was $300.

What a dildo!
It's horribly inappropriate for Republicans to support the fully fascist, not semi-fascist, wing of the Republican Party.
President Biden was being kind...that's his way, and I respect him for it, but I prefer to call it as it is.
