Why did Trump have these top secret documents?

Seems like no one is asking this. Why did he have them? For what purpose? No other former president left office with a cache of top secret documents. So, what was he doing with them?

He doesn't read so he didn't keep them so he could read them.

Or assessments of the results of his actions? Or were they about his buddies like Orban, MBS, Kim and Vlad.

I thought when he blurted out "Obama had taken 30 million documents" how did he know that fact? Did he try to look into Obama era records trying to find evidence or something he could have used against Obama or Biden? The documents were already with NARA. I'm sure he could have ordered a search for any information he said he needed.

Or was it inside information or assessments on climate change, aliens, future trends that he could have capitalized on?
