And the family political feuding heats up...check this

My nephew posted this photo of his 3 1/2 month old son on fb saying it needed no caption.
I posted that was what my great nephew thought of Hurricane Sandy (this was last Monday night)

Some of you may know I blocked my sister-in-law's e-mails in 2008 because I got really fed
up with the right wing BS she'd send around--not fact checked--and even said once she
didn't care about history or facts, she just agreed with a (bigoted) opinion. Well, we made up
to the point that I, with reservations, responded to a friend request on fb a couple years ago.
It didn't take her long and I un-friended her and re-blocked her e-mails. She is the baby's grandmother.

So, just now her sister put up--wait for it--" My sentiments exactly (baby's name),if Obama wins again !!!!!!

OMG! I'm waiting to see whether my nephew will take her post down, respond to it, or just leave it alone.
He is a Democrat (both his parents are Republicans).

This woman--little Mrs. Christian--read Corinthians 13 at my niece's wedding (aunt of the baby) this summer.

How is it that these professed "Christians" can be so dense? So hypocritical? Love...my a$$...unless it's someone who
looks a little different than you.

Wow. I'm floored.

Anyone else with a story to share?

You know, the part about "Love is Kind."

1 Corinthians 13:4-8
4 Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. 5 It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. 6 Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. 7 It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres.

8 Love never fails. But where there are prophecies, they will cease; where there are tongues, they will be stilled; where there is knowledge, it will pass away.

(baby's grandmother) helps take care of the baby since both he and his wife are professors.
He may not want to piss off his mom by taking on her sister.

OTOH, I'm already known as a 'troublemaker' so I could easily put her in her place.

She's just 18 years old and recently moved to CA. When checking my facebook yesterday, I found that she had posted a list numbering the issues Bush left for our President to resolve and also a list of the action BO took to resolve those issues. It was a list she'd copied from something called Random Shit (I guess on facebook) named "Did Obama Really Inherit a Mess".

Upon going to that page, I found my granddaughter and several others in a regular brawl with some repukes. She was holding her own very well by relating nothing but fact against the most vile and disgusting diatribes I've ever read.

I had not even realized she is so well informed. As I read her well thought out and absolutely correct comments, tears were rolling down my cheeks. I called her to say how proud I am of her and that she and her friends give me hope for the future of this country. Afterwards, I called my daughter to tell her how proud I am of her parenting.

Sorry, I tried to copy the page but I guess I don't know how.
