I know people who have made that mistake (filed in the wrong court) and their paperwork was returned. Go submit it to the right court.

Been stated numerous times that Reinhart was appointed by other fed judges in the district. And pretty sure none of those fed judges were dump appointed at the time.

I questioned why judge Reinhart wasn't the judge making the decision on the special master? Someone here at DU stated that the reason Reinhart wasn't used was because he didn't have the authority to issue a "stay, an injunction." I have no idea if that is factual.

So I also heard from someone on TV, one of the former prosecutors, that if Reinhart isn't used to make the decision it goes to a list of judges I think called emergency judges. If judge Cannon was next in line on that emergency list then it was done properly.

I Googled the heck out of this one and could not come up with an answer to why Cannon was given the case. It may have been done properly, but I have seen nothing to verify that.

that's where Trumps lawyers filed. They are court shopping. Plain and simple. And, if Rinehart, the Magistrate Judge doesn't hear parts of this case it should then go to the associate judges in HIS court. Same as every other court in the country. You either see the judge or the associate judge of THAT court. And it's not a given she'll do anything at all. What she has done is allowed the Feds to file a very lengthy response to his nonsense.
