Secondly, it is doubtful that the asswipe ever intended to actually do what he threatened. If he had meant to carry out the deed, why call and let them be aware. It was meant as a scare tactic and I am sure it worked.
The ONLY way to stop this is to prosecute them with years of publicized jail/prison time.

Apparently the law doesn't see it as a terrorist threat unless it comes from beyond our borders, but that needs to change. A terrorist threat is exactly what this is. It doesn't matter if he really meant it or was just blowing off steam. He threatened a Congressman and did so because he wanted to sow fear. This is not okay, it is not allowed, it is not done. Find him, put him in front of a judge, and throw the book at him.
