Then a judge would decide on bail or alternate confinement.

We have no concept of pre-indictment detention. Well, other than special rendition that is.

In the United States, an arrest without a warrant still requires probable cause – in the case of an arrest without a warrant, probable cause must be promptly filed. An arrest without warrant is generally allowed when: The person has committed a felony or misdemeanor, and the officer has witnessed it.

But, the DoJ isn't done with their criminal investigation yet (their words from the response filed last night). So they aren't ready to indict yet.

I am sorry for taking your question seriously and trying to answer what's happening factually. I fully understand how you and it's the same as how we all feel. But if DoJ needs more time, they need more time.

Espionage....

I am amazed no family members of people he caused a speedier death to because of his NON-EXISTENT initial c19 response, haven't posed as Republicans and stabbed him with "ghost" weapons!

Ah already Republicans most of them?

If I was the prosecutor, along with the search warrant, I would have asked for permission to plant a ton of devices as part of an ongoing investigation.

Should be easy to support probable cause for further crimes such as additional documents stolen, people who helped him steal it, and efforts to sell or otherwise reveal national security information.
